Biography and Career
Donna Pescow was born on March 24, 1954. She is an American television and film actress.
Pescow was born in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at the Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn, New York. She took drama classes with Rocky co-star Carl Weathers.
Later she studied at the American Academy of the Arts in 1973 to 1974. She had a leading role in an off-off Broadway musical. It was named Poor Old Fool.
She appeared in another film named Saturday Night Fever in 1977. She co-starred John Travolta. Her role and the film gained a lot her popularity but she later went on to appear in television roles rather than movies.
She also appeared in the famous soap opear One Life to Live in 1977. She played the
role of Celena Arquette. She also appeared in the TV bio-pic Rainbow in 1978. She appeared in her own television series, Angie, for two seasons from 1979 to 1980.
She starred in the soap opera All My Children in 1982 to 1983. She played the role of Dr. Lynn Carson. She later played the role of Donna Garland in the children's comedy show Out of This World in 1987 to 1991. She also starred in another soap opera named on General Hospital from 1999 to 2001.
In 1998 she was contacted by Disney for appearing in a half-hour kids/teen sitcom for the network. A pilot was filmed in 1999, and the show went on to become Even Stevens, and aired from 2000 to 2003.
After the show ended in 2003 Donna took a break and dint appear on television for a few years. She returned to television when she appeared in the movie One Sung Hero. After the film she again took a small break from acting, but did appear in a 2006 episode of Crossing Jordan.
In 2007, Donna made an appearance on the series finale of The Sopranos. She played the role of the wife of Patsy Parisi. She dated actor Jason Kincade and later married Donald Zelonka in 1987.
