Don Omar was born on February 10, 1978. He is a Puerto Rican singer.
Don Omar's started his career with the release of his first album named The Last Don. The album had two versions and both the studio and live edition have been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. According to the figures on his officical website his album Worldwide, The Last Don: Live sold over one million copies.
His first single was named Dale Don Dale. It sold over 500,000 copies only in South America. Omar won various awards for Latin Pop Album of the Year and New Artist & Latin Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year in 2003. He was awared by the Billboard Latin Music Awards. The Last Don: Live wa

He released another album in May 2006. The album was named King of Kings. The album became history's highest ranking reggaeton LP in the top 10 US charts. The first single of the album hit number 1 on the Latin sales charts. The song also hit number 1 on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Radio Chart. The song was named Angelito.
With the highest charting debut by a reggaeton artist his album named King of Kings entered at number 7 with 74,000 besting Daddy Yankee's No. 24 entry with his song Barrio Fino En Directo in 2005.
Don Omar received the Latin Billboard award in April 2007 for Reggaeton Album Of The Year for King of Kings. Two of his songs were also featured in the famous movie Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. His songs were named Los Bandoleros and Conteo.
His third studio album was released in April 2009. The album was named iDon. The first single from the album was Virtual Diva. The song was released to radio stations and performed on MTV's Tr3s variety show, Virtual Diva. His song iDon was one the most requested song on Latin radio stations.
He married Jackie Guerrido. They have three children together. Don Omar is also the owner of All Star Records.
