Don Cheadle (full name Donald Frank Cheadle) was born on November 29, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. He is an Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning American actor.
Biography and Career :
He was born to Betty and Donald Cheadle and has another two siblings. Don graduated the East High School in Denver, Colorado and after that the California Institute of the Arts.
His first notable role was in "Hamburger Hill" in 1987, after he played in an episode of "Night Court", a situation comedy. Later he also appeared in the next television and big screen movies: Colors in 1988, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (one episode 1990), The Golden Palace (a The Golden Girls spin-off in 1992).
He became really successful after playing in "Devil in a Blue Dress" f
or which the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the National Society of Film Critics awarded him with the Best Supporting Actor award and was nominated for the same award from the Screen Actors Guild and the NAACP Image Awards.
