Dominic Cooper was born on June 2, 1978, in Greenwich, England. His parents separated when he was only 5 years of age and he lost his sister in his childhood. He studied at Thomas Tallis School. In 2000, Dominic Cooper completed his graduation from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
After a role in Anazapta in 2001, Dominic Cooper acted in the movie From Hell (2001) and in the show Band of Brothers. His name was spread far and wide with his stint in the show The History Boys where the played the character of Dakin. After acting from 2004 to 2006 on this show, Dominic Cooper landed a different works in radio, plays and movies.
