Dennis Quaid (full name Dennis William Quaid) was born on April 9, 1954, in Houston, Texas. His acting performances in high school made him consider acting as a career option. His brother, Randy Quaid, also worked as a source of inspiration to get success in the entertainment industry.

Being single by this time, he married Meg Ryan, his co-star in Innerspace. He did two movies with her after their marriage which included D.O.A. (1988) and Flesh and Bone (1993). However, after a controversy with Russell Crowe, Dennis Quaid divorced Meg Ryan.
