Biography and Career :
She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
She became famous as host of "The Big Breakfast" show . At the beginning she was a weather and travel reporter there. Her acting career includes appearances in "The Bill", "Love, Honour and Obey" and "The Young Person's Guide To Becoming A Rockstar". In 2003 she was seen in "Tell Me On A Sunday", which is Andrew Lloyd Webber's one-woman show. In 2005 she co-hosted "This Morning" on ITV1 and appeared in "Where the Heart Is" television series on the same channel.
One year later she presented "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?" , a programme searching for
a girl to play the role of Maria in "The Sound of Music".
Other shows she had guested are "The Charlotte Church Show", "Grease: You're the One that I Want!" and the "National Lottery" Christmas draw.
The romantic relationships she had were with actor Nick Moran, Jay Kay from the band Jamiroquai and nightclub boss Richard Traviss.
She is involved in charity actions to donate money for breast cancer research.
