Debbi Fields was born on September 18, 1956. She is the founder of Mrs. Fields Bakeries.
Debbi Fields is popularly known by her business name. She was born in Oakland California on 18th September, 1956. She had four sisters. She has written several cookbooks.
She earned money by working as a ball girl under Charles O. Finley. She used the money to buy her ingredients and started her own bakery business in Palo Alto, California. She has grown to more than 500 bakeries in the U.S. and in 11 other countries. She started to franchise her business when she got very popular in the 1990s and sold her company to an investment company then.
She also published her recipes in her books. She released a
total of three books which were all very famous. Her first book was named 100 Recipes from the Kitchen Of Debbie Fields. Her first book was published by Time Life and this book was one of their best sellers. Almost 2 million copies of her first book were sold. She wrote her second book which was published in 1994. She named the second book, I Love Choclate which also gained a lot of sales. Atleast half a million copies of her second book were sold as well. She wrote her third book which had the same name as a weekly television show. The third book was named Debbi Fields Great American Desserts. Her third book was published by Simon and Schuster.
Fields got married when she was just 19. She married Randy Fields but divorced in 1997. They had four daughters together who were named Jessica, Jenessa, Jennifer, Ashlie and McKenzie. She remarried Michael Rose in the next year, 1998.
