She graduated John Burroughs High School, in the same school where her parents graduated. She won the title of Miss Burbank in 1984.
She began working as a model and appeared in many comercials for Taco Bell in 1996 and she also got a role in the series "Run for the Border Girl".
She is well-known for her role as Heidi Keppert or the Tool Time Girl in the ABC's series "Home Improvement".
First she started as a guest star on the show, but the producers decided to make her a regular character.
She also got roles in some big movies like "Dangerous Curves" in 1988. She won the award for American Gladiators Celebrity Challange two years.
Dunning
is married to Steve Timmons, the volleyball legent and had two children, a daughter born in 1996, and a son born in 2000.
In 2004 she was the spokesperson for the breast enlargement drink.
