Dean Cain was born on July 31, 1966. He is an American actor.
Dean Cain is popularly known by his stage name. He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on July 31, 1966. He is the son of Roger Tanaka and Sharon Thomas. Cain comes from a Japanese, French, Canadian, Irish descent. He studied at the Santa Monica High School. He excelled in sports and got scolarships from various universities. Cain finished his school in 1984 and went to Princeton University. He was dating Brooke Shields during his time in university. He graduated from university in 1988 with BA majoring in history.
After leaving university he signed with Buffalo Bills but could not continue due to a knee injury during his training. He s
hot a few commercials and wrote a few screenwritings with his hope of returning to play. He shot different commercials like A Different World, Beverley Hills 90210 and a few more famous ones. He took the role of superman in 1993 which got him a lot of popularity. The television series continued till 1997.
In 1998 he started his own company named Angry Dragon Entertainment Company. His company produced the television series, Ripleys Believe It Or Not. Cain also acted in a few more movies with leading roles in most of them. He acted in the movies Out Of Time in 2003 and Bailey Billion's in 2004 and a few more. Cain also played a small role in the television series Las Vegas. Cain also made a guest appearance in the television series Smallville in the seventh episode.
Cain was engaged to singer Mindy McCready but never got married to her. He has a son named Christopher who was born in 2000 with his girlfriend Samantha Torres.
