David Wood attented Chichester High School For Boys and Worcester College, Oxford.
David Wood is famous for leading writer and director of plays and musical for childrens and for the movies as Fantastic Mr Fox, The Witches, Spot and Babe the Sheep Pig and The Gingerbread Man.
He played in several movies "If...." in 1968, "Aces High" in 1976 and the hit musical "Jeeves" in 1975 that brought some fame among his name.
Wood have wrote "Swallows and Amazons", released in 1974.
In 2004 at Queen's Birthday Honours List, David Wood was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
