Danielle Peck (full name Danielle Marie Peck) was born on September 14, 1978, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She was brought up in Coshocton, Ohio.
Biography and Career :
She received the interest in music at an early age from her parents. After performing at various events and festivals, she came to Nashville, Tennessee.
There she got a major breakthrough. She signed a songwriting deal with publisher Clay Myers for Barbara Orbison's Still Working Music. Then, she also signed with Dreamworks Records, but the company closed soon. Dreamworks exec Scott Borchetta signed her for his self-owned Big Machine Records.
Her debut single "I Don't" was released in 2005 and reached #28 on the Hot Country Singles chart. Her self-titled debut album was released in June 2006. It reac
hed #23 on the Top Country Albums chart. Danielle's second song "Findin' a Good Man" peaked #16 and the third one, "Isn't That Everything", reached top 30.
Danielle has been recording for her 2nd album since then. In addition to this, she performed at the Naval Submarine Base in New London in May, 2007 as part of Spirit of America tour.
