Dana White was born on July 28, 1969, in Manchester, Connecticut and he is a famous businessman from United States. His early life was spent in Maine and then, in Las Vegas and Boston. He had studied at the University of Massachusetts for a while. He was attracted to the world of mixed martial arts and boxing during the time he was in Boston.
He opened a sports management company under the name of Dana White Enterprises in 1992 in Las Vegas. His company gave trainings too for becoming a professional boxer. Among the fighters, Dana White trained Lorenzo Fertitta. Fertita had been his school mate, but the two formed a clos
e partnership after they met at a wedding.
Dana White partnered with Lorenzo Fertita and his brother Frank Fertitta to establish the Zuffa, LLC in 2001. The aim of this organization was to buy the UFC.
At that time the UFC was maimed as a bloody sport and was considered illegal. But it was Zuffa, LLC that changed the scenario. Dana White was made the UFC president and together they began shaping the UFC into a popular brand.
