Cuba Goading Jr. was born on January 2, 1968, in The Bronx, New York, USA. He is a famous American actor.
Biography and Career :
He is the son of the Cuba Gooding Sr., the vocalist of the pop band Main Ingredient. After his father broke the tops with the single "Everybody Plays the Fool" in 1972, his family moved to Los Angeles. After two years, his father abandoned his family. Cuba Gooding Jr. entered high school during his teenage years. During high school he performed in a play and after that he was a constant presence in TV Commercials. That led to a minor part in an episode in "Hill Street Blues".
His debut on the stage was of a break dancer in the show of Lionel Richie at Olimpiada. Later on he took acting classes. His real debut was in 1990 in "Boyz N the Hood". He
kept on acting, but in low budget films. 1997 was one of the greatest year in his career. He was awarded with an Oscar for the Best Minor Part in "Jerry Maguire". His next triumph was in "As Good as It Get".
1999 was an year full of television and film for Cuba Gooding Jr. He showed up in the Pepsi TV commercials and starred in "Instinct" with Anthony Hopkins. He also got a main part in "Chill Factor". Important film in his career are: "Pearl Harbor", "Men of Honour" or "Muhammad Ali's All Star 60th Birthday Celebration".
