Cobie Smulders was born on April 3, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was a famous model and actress.

Biography and Career :

When she was a child she wanted to be a doctor or a marine biologist. Things didn't get that way because during high school she liked acting very much. She was soon discovered by model agencies and started a career in fashion world. She travelled to Paris, Japan, Milan, Greece, and Germany. In 2000 she graduated high school and was elected the "Most Respected". Her modeling career continued until she moved to Los Angeles. There she became an actress and started to appear in movies. Her first major guest role was in the Showtime sci-fi series "Jeremiah".

- She participated in tennis, swimming and socc er and other sports as a teenager.
- She is Canadian and so is her character, Robin Scherbatsky, in 'How I Met Your Mother'.
- She is fluent in French.
