
Clark Gable (full name William Clark Gable) was born on February 1, 1901 in Cadiz, Ohio, USA. He was a famous American actor.
Biography and Career :
Clark Gable was fond of theatre since the age of 16. At that age he left his family to Akron to work in a factory. After seeing a play he decided to become an actor. On his debut, Clark Gable was helped by the actress Josephine Dillon, to whom he got married in 1924. She was his first of the five wives he had. His debut on the stage was in 1931 with the play "The Painted Desert". Starting in 1932 he was the star of MGM for 22 years.
In 1935 he won the Oscar with "It Happened One Night". Another important performance for Clark Gable was the part of Rhett Butler in "Gone With the Wind". He became the "king" of Hollywood. After e
nding the filming of "The Misfits", the artist suffered a heart attack and died when he was 59 year old, a few months before his first son was born.

- Vivien Leigh reportedly did not like kissing him because she said that he had excessively bad breath.
