Clarence Birdseye
Clarence Birdseye (1886-1956) was an Ameican inventor who pioneered food refrigeration processes.
Short Biography:
While working as a fur trader in Labrador in 1912-1916 he was struck by the ease with which food could be preserved in an Arctic climate.
Back in the USA he found that the same effect could be obtained by rapidly freezing prepared food between two refrigerated metal plates.
