Christine Lakin (full name Christine Helen Lakin) was born in Dallas, Texas in January 25, 1979. She entered the Atlanta Workshop Players at the age of 7 where she impressed her colleagues and the audiences by her naturalistic acting style. She even started acting in the television commercials.
At the age of 11, Lakin appeared for the first time in a movie The Rose and the Jackal opposite Christopher Reeve. On 1991, Lakin starred on the TV show Step by Step. Lakin appeared on various TV shows and plays after the Step by Step. She played a minor role opposite James Franco and Marla Sokoloff in Whatever it Takes. Since then she took acting as her career and started acting on several movies and TV shows.
In 2003 Lakin performed in the play Sneaux starred by Kristin Bell. Two years later
she acted in the shows Veronica Mars and Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical with Kristin Bell. In 2007, she acted in Georgia Rule opposite Lindsay Lohan and in The Game Plan opposite The Rock.
