Biography and Career :
He made his debut as an actor in television at the age of 8 in the TV soap- opera "One Life to Live". Next year, he acted together with Dick Van Dyke in the play "The Music Man". On his debut in television Christian Slater was supported by his mother.
He appeared on the big screen when he was 16 in "The Legend of Billy Jean". Later on, he was appreciated by critics after starring in "The Name of the Rose", having Sean Connery as a partner. Other important films on his career are: "Tucker", "A Man and his Dream", but a real success for Christian was "Heathers". This movie made him a real star in Hollywood.
Regarding his private life we see he was a violent citizen having law problems. He got arrested over and over. After his last film "Hard Rain" he got also arrested for being violent and addicted to drugs.
