He was born in a family with 5 children: three boys and two girls. He was well known as a comedian since his childhood. He used his "quality" to make people pay attention to him. Chris was chosen to be "the best comedian" by his schoolmates.
He made his debut in acting career in 1994, in "House Party 3", playing a small,but remarkable part. Next year he showed up in "Friday", a comedy of F. Gary, playing a character named Smoby. Other films he performed in are: "Def Comedy fam 2" (1993), "Dead Presidents" (1995), "Money Talks" (1997), "Jackie Brown" (1997), "The Fifth Element" (1997), "Rush Hour"(1998), "Rush Hour 2" (2001).
