Chester Carlson (1906-1968) was an American scientist, who invented the xerography photocopying process.
Short Biography:
A research worker with Bell Telephone, he was sacked from his post in 1930 during the Depression, and set to work on his own to develop an efficient copying machine.
By 1938 he had invented the Xerox photocopier.
