
Cheryl Tiegs was born on September 25, 1947 in Breckenridge, Minnesota, USA. She grew up in California, where she attended the Alabama High School. She is known as the first modern American supermodel.
Biography and Career :
Her modeling career started when she was 17 years old. In time, she managed to appear in magazines like Vogue, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE and Time.
In 1970, 1975 and 1983 she was seen on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, but her first professional appearance was in June 1996 on the cover of Teen magazine.
Between 1970 and 1979 she was married to Stan Dragoti. After this, on May 24, 1981 she married Peter Beard, but their marriage lasted only 2 years.
On November 23, 1990 she married Tony Pec, with whom she has a son, Zachary
, born in January 1991. Still, they divorced 4 years later, in 1995 .
Her last marriage was with Rod Stryker. They got married on May 30, 1998 and divorced in 2001. The couple have two children, the twins Jaden and Theo.
Even if her career as a supermodel is over, she didn't abandon fashion and beauty world. She designs an accessory and wig line for Revlon and is now in business.
