Cherie Currie was born in the San Fernando Valley town of Encino on November 30, 1959 to parents Don Currie and actress Marie Harmon and she has two sisters named Sondra Currie and her twin Marie Currie.

In the film Cherie Currie is played by Dakota Fanning.
