Charles Briles is my cousin. My Dad's Brother is famous in Baseball, and he and Charles met once. Charles has a whole family in The Auburn Ca. area. Though my Uncle Nelson (pro baseball player) was the only person in the family who actually met him, I know that while playing on the Big Valley he was portrayed as a guest in a way. They showed him as a college student that came home once in a while. It was thri lling as a kid to see him on the few shows he did make. Just as thrilling to watch my Uncle Nelson play baseball in the World Series for the Pirates.
