Chandra Wilson (full name Chandra Danette Wilson) was born on August 27, 1969 in Houston, Texas, USA. She is an actress.

Biography and Career :

She studied at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating she majored in Drama.

One of her most important roles was in Bob Patterson, a television series which aired in 2001. Then she was seen in "Law & Order", "Sex and the City" and "The Sopranos" and some others.

We can say that the role which brought her glory was in the television series "Grey's Anatomy". With this movie she won many awards and received nominations.

In 2007 she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding female actor in a drama series, a SAG Award as part of the Grey's A natomy cast and she was nominated for an Emmy Award for best supporting actress in a drama in 2006 and 2007.

She got married in 1988 and now she has three children: Joy who was born in 1994, Serena who was born in 1992 and Michael who was born in 2005.

Her talent helped her a lot and she is a brave woman with a great personality. We are sure that we will see her on the screen many years from now on. Her favorite soap operas are "All My Children", "General Hospital", "One Life to Live" and "The Young and the Restless" and she sees them every day.
