Cesar Romero was born on February 15, 1907 in New York City and died on January 1, 1994 in Santa Monica, California.
His parents are from Cuba and he has one sister. In 1929 his parents lost all their money, but he support his family with money from his Hollywood earnings.
In October 1942 he became a memeber of the Pacific Theatre. There he played between 1930 and 1950 and his roles where most latin lovers. He attracted the Hollywood when he starred in the play "The Cisco Kid" in 1939. His most roles were in dancing and comedy plays but he got a drama role in 20th Century Fox's movies "Week-End in Havana" and "Springtime in the Rockies" in 1940.
Later he became a 20th Century Fox star playing in most of their movies like "Captain from Castile" in 1947 where he played Hernana Co
rtez a spanish conquistador from 1519.
He also made some television cameos playing in "Zorro" and in the comedy "How to Marry a Millionaire" in 1958.
In 1965 he got a main character in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", but his best character was a year later in ABC's series "Batman".
In 1970 he portrayed a character in "Chico and the Man" and later he got the role of Peter Starvros in "Falcon Crest" between 1985 and 1987.
Then he appeared as Dracu in "Night Gallery" a series directed by Rod Sterling.
One of his most memorable characters was in Walt Disney's 1970 series "Medfield College" where he played a criminal.
