Catherine Britt was born on December 31, 1984 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. She is a popular singer.

Biography and Career :

Her father, Steve Britt, loves country music too. He says that his daughter's passion for this genre began after she saw the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter".

After she signed a contract with ABC Country she released her debut album called "In The Pines" in 1999. After this she released another two albums: "Dusty Smiles and Heartbreak Cures" and "Too Far Gone".

In 2004 she decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Then she signed a contract with RCA Nashville. Some of her singles are "That Don't Bother Me", "46 Miles from Alice", "Help Me, I'm Falling", "The Upside of Being Down", "Where We Both Say Goodbye", "Swingin' Door" o r "What I Did Last Night".

Three of them entered charts in the United States and they were placed on the 36th, 38th and 39th position: "The Upside of Being Down", "Where We Both Say Goodbye" sand along Elton John and "What I Did Last Night".

The genre she is singing is country and she sings the guitar and vocals. She is a talented singer and her fans can't wait to hear her new singles and albums and of course see her on tour in their towns.
