Biography and Career :
She studied the Magee Secondary School in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. In 1987 she went to Europe because she wanted to be a model. After four years, while being in Spain, she received a role in the television show "Dark Justice".
Then she started appearing in commercials and advertisements and soon was seen in the play "Outward Bound" at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena.
Her success came after the role in "Matrix" and she became a famous actress all over the world. She also played in "The Matrix Revolutions" and "The Matrix Reloaded" and she says that since then she can't wear s
unglasses because people recognize her.
Besides the role in "Matrix" she also appeared in "The Crew", "Red Planet", "Chocolat", "Memento" and some others. She received an Independent Spirit Award for the movie "Memento".
In November 1999 she married Steven Roy and the couple has two children now (2007). One of them is named Owen. She is very popular not just for her body and face but also for her intelligence and personality. She is a great woman and her fans are eager to see her next films.
