Biography and Career :
Carre Otis went to the Marin Academy in San Rafael, California and the John Woolman School in Nevada City, California.
When she was 18 years old she started her modeling career and since then, she was seen in magazines like ELLE, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, GQ, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Allure .
Carre did campaigns and advertisements for Jeans Magazines as Guess and Calvin Klein. In 1996 she appeared in the Pirelli calendar and four years later in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. The model also posed for the Playboy Magazine in 1990 and 2000 .
On June 26, 1992 she married the actor Mickey Rourke, with
whom she previously played in ''Wild orchid''. Many said that on the set, she and Mickey Rourke didn't have a simulated sex scene. The couple divorced in1998. Other two movies in which she appeared are "Exit in Red" and "Simon Says".
Because of her talent, beauty and brightness, she soon became popular and admired, but she faced difficulties at some point, in her career, as she suffered from anorexia and struggled with health issues and drug addiction.
In the year 2005, she represented the Breil jewellery line.
