Biography and Career :
When she was only 16, she was discovered by the Mary Lou's Models scouts. She started off by posing as a model in the local magazines in Florida. Soon she became a famous supermodel, well known all over the world.
She was seen in the Pirelli calendar in 1998 and 1999 and in Incubus' "'Are You In?" music video. Some of the magazines in which she appeared are: Vogue (in the U.S., France, UK, and Italy), Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire.
She did commercials and advertisements for brands like Calvin Klein, Chloe, Fendi, Gucci, Gap, Donna Karen, Dolce and Gabbana and many others.
She also became spokesmodel for Estee Lauder and was on the c
over of Vogue's "Models of the Millennium". The year before, in 1998 at the VH1 Fashion & Music she had won the award for 'Model of the Year'. In 2004 and 2005 she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
As she wanted to become an actress, in 1999 she appeared in the movie "Liberty Heights".
In October 1999 she decided to marry Jake Schroeder, but they divorced in 2002. The couple has one child, Dylan Blue. Other men she dated are model Mark Vanderloo and the Incubus front-man, Brandon Boyd.
