She is a singer, songwriter and guitarist and her talent was immediately noticed by the audience. In 1971 she released her debut album which was named after her. Besides that she released another twenty-one more until 2007.
Now (2007) she has a contract with Columbia Records and she is still making happy millions of fans in the entire world with her songs.
In 1972 she was the winner of the Grammy award for Best New Artist. During her career she has won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe and two Grammy Awards.
