Carlos Santana was born on July 20, 1947 in Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico. He is one of the world's greatest musicians.

Biography and Career :

In 1961 he went to San Francisco and decided to remain there. At eight years old he learned to play the guitar and today he is one of the greatest guitarists. In 1969 it was released his debut album, "Santana", and from then on he released another thirty-two more.

His talent in now recognized all over the world and it's impossible that someone would not know his name. In 1998 he became part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He, Michael Jackson and Norah Jones hold the record for most Grammies wo n in one year, with eight.

On April 21, 1973 he married Deborah King. They have a happy marriage and three wonderful children. Along his great wife he founded "The Milagro Foundation", a foundation which world widely provides financial aid for educational, medical and other needs of children.

Besides music he launched a shoe collection for women in 2000 and also fragrance for both men and women. He is a talented musician, there's no doubt, but he is also a great person and he likes to help people around him. We hope that we will enjoy his talent and music many years from now on.
