Carlos Berlocq was born on February 3, 1983 in Chascomus, Argentina. He is a professional tennis player.

Biography and Career :

After he started playing tennis when he was a child at four years old, he became a professional tennis player in 2001. The person who is next to him at the tournaments is his coach Jorge Gerosi.

Until now (2007) he has no ATP single or doubles tournament and any Grand Slam title won, but is hoping to achieve results soon. In 2006 he qualified and participated at three of the four Grand Slam tournaments, the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon, but after the first round he was eliminated at all of them.

The next year he was present again at Wimbledon but he had the same results as before. Until now he has won half million dollars even th ough he hasn't won any title. 2004 was a good year for him after he won three Future titles in Argentina, France and Slovenia and he was a finalist at the Challenger in Manta, Ecuador, but unfortunately he lost to Giovanni Lapentti.

In 2007 he reached to the quarter-finals at the tournaments in Umag and Vina del Mar and won the Challengers in Barletta and Turin. As a doubles player he and Dabul were finalists at La Serena and was semifinalist at Monza along Azzaro and at Barletta along Ruiz-Cadenas.

At Vina del Mar he and Vassallo Arguello managed to play the semi-finals, but they lost. He is a player who has qualities and might be a great player in the future. We wish him luck and hope to hear soon of his results.
