Candie Payne was born in Liverpool, England. She is a popular English singer and songwriter.

Biography and Career :

She and her music were influenced by singers like Minnie Riperton and Roberta Flack. Now (2007) she sings a pop genre with influences from the 60's. Her debut album, "I Wish I Could Have Loved You More", was released in 2007 and was placed on the 56th position in the UK Official Album Chart in its first week of release in Britain.

The singles she released until now are All I Need to Hear, Take Me, I Wish I Could Have Loved You More and One More Chance. All of them had success and she conquered the hearts of many fans all over the world. She has a contract signed with Deltasonic/Columbia Records.

In 2007 she was present at the Glastonbury Festival where perf ormed several songs and became even more popular. She appeared in one episode of "Later with Jools Holland".

She comes from a musician family, her brothers are musicians too, and her parents have always supported her dreams. The collaboration with Simon Dine, a music producer, made possible the release of her debut album.
