Calista Flockhart (full name Calista Kay Flockhart) was born on November 11, 1964 in Freeport, Illinois, USA. She is a popular actress.

Biography and Career :

She studied at the Shawnee High School in Medford. Her mother, Kay, was a high school teacher and her father, Ronald, was an executive at Kraft Foods.

She made her debut in "Guiding Light" in 1989. The role that made her famous was in the television series "Ally McBeal" where she had the main role. Other movies in which she was seen are "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her", "Bash: Latter-Day Plays", "The Last Shot", "Fragile" and "Brothers & Sisters".

In 2001 she decided to adopt a child and finally adopted Liam. After one year she engaged Harrison Ford. She was the winner of th e People's Choice Award for Favorite Female Television Performer on January 9, 2000 at the 26th Annual People's Choice Awards from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Pasadena, California, USA and of the Q Award for Best Actress in a Quality Series for "Ally McBeal".

She is very popular and has many fans in the entire world. Her talent is obvious and she is a great actress.
