Buddy Jewell was born on April 1, 1961 in Lepanto, Arkansas, United States. He is famous American country music artist.
He started playing guitar during his early childhood at school, borrowing guitar from one of his friends and buying books about guitar playing. He was inspired by music cause of his father and uncle Clyde, who also sang the song, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" for him. By age of fifteen, he learnt himself how to play the music of the song, "I Still Miss Someone." Later at the age of 21, he appeared i the show, "Six Flags over Texas." and competed in the competition by the band Alabama. After winning the competition he moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1993.
Later he won the competition, "Nashville Star" winning it and getting a contract with Columbia records. On May 5, 2003, his song, "Help Pour Out the Rain" was shipped to radio. He gave many hit albums such as: "Country Enough", "Buddy Jewell", "Far Enough Away" and "One in a Row".

Why is he famous?

He is famous for his hit singles, "Sweet Southern Comfort", "So Gone", "Dance with My Father" and "If She Were Any Other Woman".
