Bryn Terfel was born on November 9, 1965 in Pwllheli, Wales. He is a famous actor as well as Opera Singer. He started acting and singing in 1992 movie, "Die Frau ohne Schatten" as Der Geisterbote and directed by Brian Large. Later he appeared in the movie, "Le nozze di Figaro" as Figaro.
Bryn achieved a lot of fame after his role in the Julie Taymor directed movie, "Oedipus Rex" as Creon. He also appeared a Baritone in the movie, "Last Night of the Proms: The 100th Season" aired in 1994. He also acted in several other famous movies such as: "Don Giovanni", "Falstaff", "Salome", "Das Rheingold" and "Les contes d'Hoffmann".
Besides his act on the big screen he also appeared in the TV serials, "Testament: The Bible in Animation" for the episode, "Elijah" in 1996 and "Great Performances"
in episode, "Renee Fleming & Bryn Terfel: Music Under the Stars" aired in 2003.
At present he lives in Cardiff, South Glamorgan, Wales.
