Bruni Lobel was born on December 20, 1920 in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany and she was a famous TV and film actress. She started her career in 1939 with the film called “Heimatland” in which she played the role of Mariele, Monikas Schwester, directed by Ernst Martin and writers of the film are Nico Dostal, Christian Hallig etc, released on October 27, 1939 and the cast of the film includes: Hansi Knoteck, Wolf Albach-Retty, Christian Gollong, Ursula Herking, Josefine Dora, Martin Schmidhofer etc.

In 1950 Bruni Lobel played in the American film "The Big Lift", about the famous Berlin airlift. The film starred Montgomery Clift and Paul Douglas. Lobel played Douglas' love interest, a young German woman struggling to understand how democracy works.

She acted in many other TV series and films such as: “Wenn die Sonne wieder scheint”, “Kein Platz für Liebe”, “Man spielt nicht mit der Liebe”, “Drei, von denen man spricht”, "Spannagl & Sohn" etc and she died on September 27, 2006 in Mühldorf am Inn, Bavaria, Germany.
