She started her career in 1927 with the film called “Metropolis” in which she played the role of Maria, directed by Fritz Lang and writers of the film are Thea von Harbou etc, released on March 13, 1927 and the cast of the film includes: Alfred Abel, Gustav Fröhlich, Rudolf Klein-Rogge, Fritz Rasp, Theodor Loos, Erwin Biswanger etc.

She acted in many other films such as: “Die Liebe der Jeanne Ney”, “Die wunderbare Lüge der Nina Petrowna”, “Die Gräfin von Monte-Christo”, “Der Läufer von Marathon” etc, and she died on June 11, 1996 in Ascona, Switzerland.
