Brandon Flowers (full name Brandon Richard Flowers) was born on June 21, 1981, in Henderson, Nevada. During his early life, Brandon was much influenced by the music of Oasis, U2 and The Cure.

In 2001, he left school and entered a band named The Blush Response. In his music, he wanted to have liberal use of synthesizers. But the band shifted to LA and Brandon had to leave them.

Brandon was influenced after watching Oasis performing live and that inspired him to make a band. He found an advertisement by Dave Kuening and he responded to it. That was the beginning of The Killers. The duo selected other band members and they started creating their own music.
The result was their first album, named “Hot Fuss”, which was released in 2004. From the beginning, the new album received praises from critics and huge responses from the audience which eventually led to a four-times platinum status for the album. The band was also invited to perform at the Live 8 concert in 2005.

Before the release of their second album, Brandon Flowers made a media uprise by saying that their upcoming album would be the best in two decades. When it was released, the album, “Sam’s Town” received a diverse response from the audience. The sound of the band’s music had changed considerably during this time, but the second album managed to pull a platinum status.

The Killers released a compilation album named “Sawdust” which did not get the enthusiasm of the first couple albums. Brandon Flowers has been working hard on the next album for The Killers named “Day & Age”.
