He was also known by other names like Nicholas Brady or Nick Brady. Brandon married Deanna Collins on March 17, 1969.

Brandon acted in many films and tv shows starting from the 50's. Some of his credits include the tv show "The Quest" in the role of the Gun Fighter (1 episode, 1976), movie Challenge to Be Free (1975) as R.C.M.P. Carter, show "The Top Secret Life of Edgar Briggs" in the role of Grishin (1 episode, 1974) and film Soft Beds, Hard Battles (1974) as a German officer.
