Brandi Carlile was born on June 1, 1981 in Ravensdale, Washington, USA. She is a singer and also a songwriter.

Biography and Career :

In 2004 she managed to sign a contract with Columbia Records and she started working on her album. Although she signed a contract with Columbia Records she had previously released two albums called "Room For Me" and "We're Growing Up". After the contract was signed she released the album "Acoustic" and the next year, in 2005, "Live from Neumo's". She was successful so she had another album in 2005, "Brandi Carlile". All her thoughts and work were combined in the album released in 2007, "The Story", which is the last until now. The single with the same name was successful and reached the fifth position in the VH1 chart. This album was produced by T Bone Burnett and includes a collaboration with the Indigo Girls on "Cannonball."

She is going to many tours and makes happy her fans which are eager to hear her singing. She is a great singer with a special voice.
