Career:
Bobbie was born on January 29th, 1968 at Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated high school at a tender age of 16 and dreamed of being a trial attorney and took up drama classes to train for the same but the acting bug got her and she moved to Los Angeles where her natural flair for acting was quickly recognized. Her first acting role was amazingly co-starring with Halley Berry in a short lived TV sitcom "They came from outer space" in 1991. Before that she did shows like "Married with Children" (1987) and "Baywatch" (1989).

hat she was trained in Martial Arts and see had a lot of versatility in her roles right from comedian to martial arts.
However considering her immense acting talent Bobbie did not receive the fame she deserved until on a suggestion from a famous casting director Johanna Ray she changed her hair color from blonde to brunette and her career immediately started going uphill. She became Julie Costello in Steve Bochco’s critically acclaimed "Murder One" in 1995. It is one of her best roles till date and it received the People Choice award in 1996. In 1995 she was also voted the "10 Hottest Faces of 1995" in TV guide magazine.
Bobbie is also widely known for her appearance in Sci-Fi "The X-Files" as Dr. Bambi Berenbaum and received "Best Guest Actress Award" at Sci-Fi Universe Awards. She is also famous for her role in the syndicating drama "The Cape" as a Navy fighter pilot.
Bobbie's best till date has been her role in "Chameleon" where she got the unique opportunity to blend her acting skill with her martial art expertise.
Bobbie is mainly a TV actress although she has starred in some independent films.

Bobbie Phillips is a true professional and very talented. Obviously, beautiful but she is beautiful on the inside too. I had the pleasure of working with her on MURDER ONE in 1995. I have never forgotten her spirit even though I haven;t seen her since.

Bobbie Phillips.... amazing actress who always gave her all to each and every role. Why should Bobbie Phillips be famous? I would say 1. Bobbie always (always) became the character she played, however small the role. Bobbie never favoured one role over another as far as acting was concerned, and in doing so she proved she was a democrat of the profession. 2. As I stated at the very top, not only did Bobbie make ever role her own, but she punctuated the respective role with her serious acting ability, and not a little sexiness, where required. As if that were not enough, Bobbie was also one hell of a resillient actor, and able to take on almost any role within any genre.
Although now retired, I for one hold out great hope she'll make a comeback, as is her duty and justful right as one of the better actresses about.
