He started his career in 1945 with the film called "Duffy's Tavern" as a writer, directed by Hal Walker and other writers of this film are Matt Brooks, Abe Burrows etc, released on September 28, 1945 and the cast of the film includes: Ed Gardner, Bing Crosby, Paulette Goddard, Alan Ladd, Dorothy Lamour, Eddie Bracken etc.

He wrote many other films and TV series such as: "The Garry Moore Show", "Four Star Revue", "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet", "The Jimmy Durante Show", "I Love Lucy Christmas Show', "Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse" etc.
