Bob Hinkle has recorded two albums - one in 1970 called Ollie Moggus, a great mix of folk, bluesey-gospelly, light rock. He was compared to James Taylor. His second album came out in 2007 and is called When the Song Rises Up.
Bob also co-owns White Horse Black Mountain a music venue/bar in Black Mountain NC, fifteen miles from Asheville where he grew up. He moved to Black Mountain in 2007 after many years in New York City.
After leaving Asheville and joining THE VIRGINIANS, later THE GOOD EARTH, and other groups, working for AMPEX, Bob became a personal manager of the J.Geils Band, Harry Chapin, Tom Chapin, Etta James, Patti Lupone, Manfred Mann, Dottie West, co-managed Kenny Rogers, and consulted with The Band.

lyn NY, Bob produced the first appearance in the US of the Dalai Lama following his exile.
