Blu Cantrell (real name Tiffany Cobb) was born on October 1, 1976 in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. She is a famous R&B and soul singer.
Biography and Career :
Her father was a basketball player and her mother a jazz singer so she grew up surrounded by music. At the beginning of the year 2000 Tab and Laney Stewart were the persons who discovered her. They are the Red Zone Entertainment heads. She went to an audition and immediately signed a contract with Arista Records.
In 2001 she released her debut album called "So Blu" and it was certified platinum. The album and some singles entered the Billboard 200 chart and the number of her fans increased very much. She became a successful singer and her popularity was obvious. A new album was released in 2003. It was call
ed "Bittersweet". Some of her most famous singles are "Hit 'em Up Style (Oops!)", "Round Up", "Breathe" and "Make Me Wanna Scream". Nude photos of the artist taken when she was nineteen appeared in the Black Tail magazine.
She is working (2007) on a new album and in 2007 she is planning to release it. During the years she was present at many television shows, festivals and award shows and is one of the most popular R&B artists. We wish her luck and as much success or better she has had until now.
