He has acted in many movies and TV serials. He started his career in 1977 with the hit series, "ABC Afterschool Specials" in role of Ivan. His other hits includes TV serials like, "Disneyland", "American Playhouse", "ABC Weekend Specials", "Silver Spoons" and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".

Billy has also worked in many other movies such as: "Frontline", "The Crew" and "Road Kill". He has been nominated twice at Young Artist Award for the category of Best Young Actor in the serials like, "Just One of the Guys" and " "It's Not Easy" and has won three awards in the same category for other serials.
