Bill Welsh

Bill Welsh was born on April 25, 1911 in Greeley, Colorado, United States. He is a famous host and an actor. In 1946 he had his debut announcing assignment in an ice hockey telecast from the Pan-Pacific Auditorium. He has hosted many other shows like, "Kolchak: The Night Stalker", "Letter to Loretta" and "Science Fiction Theatre".
Bill has also played minor roles like announcers in some movies such as : "Three Secrets" as Radio Commentator, "The Atomic Kid" as Commentator and "Dragstrip Girl" as Drag-race announcer. Bill has been nominated for an Emmy twice in the category of "Most Outstanding Live Personality" in 1949 and 1950.
He married Lucinda Pennington and unfortunately died on February 27, 2000 in Thousand Oaks, California, United States.
