William Tannen was born on November 11, 1911 in New York City, New York, United States. He is a famous actor. He started his career in 1934 with the movie, "The Spectacle Maker" directed by John Farrow. Bill has acted in more than 280 movies till 1969. He was a famous actor of the early 1940s. Bill has done several other famous movies including, "Little Mister Jim", "An American Romance" and "Man in the Dark".

After his movies in the 1940s he also started acting in TV serials like, "Gang Busters", "Dangerous Assignment" and "The Adventures of Kit Carson".
He is the son of actor Julius Tannen and died on December 2, 1976 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, United States.
