
Beverly Joubert is a famous photographer. Beverly was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1957. She married Dereck, a documentary filmmaker in 1983. She began her career in photography in Botswana's famous Savute region, where with her husband, she started making natural history films. Her work has appeared many times in National Geographic magazine, as well as in over a hundred magazines worldwide. She has worked in sound,direction and production for the documentaries.
Among her famous writings are: "Elephant Wake," for National Geographic, May, 1991 and "Lion of Darkness" also for National Geographic, August, 1994.
