Becky Stark, also known as Lavender Diamond, was born in Kensington, Maryland, USA. She is a singer and actress.

Biography and Career :

She started her career as a classical singer, but had to renounce because of chronic asthma and tiny stature. Now she is the lead singer in the Lavender Diamond band. She attended the Brown University and there she founded a jazz quartet along another three friends. After some years she decided to move to Los Angeles, California and there formed another group, Lavender Diamond.

She performed at some music festivals like "ArthurFest", "South by Southwest" or the "CMJ New Music Seminar ALP". In 2003 the album "Artifacts of the Winged"was released. After two years they released the EP "Calvary of Light". She and the band went touring along The Decemberists and charmed their fans.

She writes songs for her group, but is also involved in another project called "The Mystical Unionists". In 1998 she debuted as an actress in "Willa: An American Snow White". After this she appeared in "Tax Day" in 1998, "High School Record" in 2005 and "One Day Like Rain" in 2007. We wish her luck and a great career in the next years.
